For a religion to survive in its pure form in this world is a very difficult thing. Many other religions enforce their beliefs and values upon others, using conversion, preaching, oppression and force as their means of becoming ‘bigger’, ‘better’ and more recognized. Advertisement and ‘spreading the word’ is their main medium for survival, even if the new people they convert don’t understand the importance of that religion.

Just as an example, and this is in no way, shape or form a diss on other religions:

Islam is the fastest growing and largest religion in the world. However, it has got to this point, to a large degree, by force, conversion, oppression and adverse publicity. This by no means suggests that this is the only reason that Islam is popular today.

The faith in God is slowly becoming weak as people in the Western world, where this religion is most prominent, lose faith in God and turn to the materialistic dreams that have become ‘life’. These may be sweeping generalisations, but they lead me to the point of why I am proud to be a HINDU.

Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world. It has survived thousands of years and countless invasions of Hindustan. However, it still remains as strong as ever. Our faith is not enforced upon others. We are silent but strong, and this is what has kept us powerful for all these years. Instead of making rigid rules which all humans have to live by, it sets common morals which everyone can relate to and adopt. This flexibility and fluidity has allowed our religion to overcome erosion and corruption over the ages. Our values remain within our hearts, our hearts remain with God and our faith remains strong………all without the need for violence or any other type of infliction upon other fellow human beings!

HINDUISM = RESPECT, not only for other Hindus, but for every living thing. HINDUISM is a peacefull religion in this universe and we believe in non violence…. HARE KRISHNA…. HARE RAMA!

Very well said!! This is also why I love Hinduism, I think that this is the true religion of peace. Buddhism could also be considered a peaceful religion, but it still claims that it is the true religion and all others are wrong. Hinduism says that all religions are different paths to god, really admirable.

haha. ahsan, you are such an idiot. You have no idea of the history. Wherever Muslims had strong power they wiped out the people and forcefully converted everyone. Think Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran etc.

About India, well, in reality, Muslims didn’t really have much control over total India. India was still mostly ruled by local Hindu rulers with their alliance with a central Moghul king. Beside, Moghuls were not that religions except Aurangazeb, who killed a lot of Hindus.

The truth of the world is “a good Muslim is a bad Muslim.”

I never agree with you. Like hindu we we never wrote Ramayan where original Indian are Rabon and lower caste people. All muslim converted in the world by saints not by warior. If muslim converted by force then we also wrote something like Ramayan. You should know more about indian history.

huh? what are you saying? you don’t make any sense. Where is the connection of Islam spreading by swords and composing Ramayana?

Ravan is not from lower caste. Infact, Ravan was a Brahman and Ram was not a Brahman. We was a kayastha (warrior). Therefore, Ram was from a lower caste than Ravan.

Muslims cannot write Ramayana because they don’t have enough creativity to compose such a long epic beautiful piece of poetry. All the great poets of Islamic world such as Rumi was killed and persecuted.

Also, you are dumb ass if you think caste system was instigated by Hinduism. It has been established that caste system is a cultural thing that the Brahmins took advantage of to keep their power over general people. The only people who think caste system is related to Hinduism are dumb fundamentalist Muslims like yourself.

You are just a simple minded Islamic fundamentalist idiot. Get some knowledge on Hinduism before trying to debate here.

Maybe.Muslims know it better.
But it’s a FACT that India(and Bangladesh,Pakistan) is the place where forced conversion to Islam is the greatest.
Islam also forbids alcohol and prostitution.
Then why percentage of alcohol consumers among Muslims is greater than Hindus in India? And why there is Heera Mandi there in Pakistan?Why percentage of Muslims in prostitution is so high in India than total Muslim percentage in India?

All these sites were created by people, who used to be Muslims before. There are hundreds of people, who are converting out of Islam as we speak. William Gomes, one of the writers of this site used to be a Muslim before and converted to Christianity. In Canada, last month, one girl was killed by her father because she didn’t wear Hijab. And you call that nature? Her own father doesn’t care about her to keep her alive for a stupid piece of cloth.

I was talking to my good friend from Iran and he was telling me that last year at least 100,000 Muslims have converted to Christianity.

Look at what your religion has done to the Zoroastrians. Talk to one of them and ask them about their opinion on Islam.

On the other hand, Hinduism doesn’t force people to convert or kill anyone for religion. Look, when you people pray, you ONLY PRAY FOR MUSLIM UMMAH. WTF! There are humans out there, who deserve to be respected. All you guys care about is ur religion. When Hindus pray, we pray for the “universe.”

So, think before you claim a dirty & toilet religion nature.

We are not Hindus we are the followers of Sanathana Dharma, Sanathana means very old, The word Hindu got associated with us because we live on across the Sindu river.

There is not a single person in Islam or Christianity who have read our Sanatana Dharma scriptures, they just say Sanathama Dharma is baseless, we worship idols which have no power and we worship numerous gods.

1) Hinduism is baseless.
Sanathana Dharma is based on the oldest books available to mankind, Sanathana Dharma was not started by any humans. All the other religions in this world not more than 2000 years of history, There are proofs for the existence of Sanathana Dharma all over the world.
Each and every thing in Sanathana Dharma is scientific and it is definitely not baseless.

2) Hindus worship idols which do not have any power
Ramanujacharya is one of the most sacred seers for Hindus, he was at Melkote (a place near Mandya, Karnataka it still exists), Melkote village and the temple was looted by the Mughals, and all the idols were taken away to Delhi, the utsava murthy of the temple there had been taken away by the muslim invaders. Lord informed Ramanujacharya in a dream that the temple’s utsavamurthy was available in Delhi in the palace of the king. In spite of his old age, Ramanuja immediately travelled to Delhi and approached the king and requested the king to return the idol of his dreams. The muslim king, who was highly impressed by Ramanuja’s power and devotion agreed to return the idol. The idol however was in possession of the young princess who was deeply attached to its beauty. When Ramanuja endearingly called ‘Come on! My dear child ‘Selva Pillaiye Varum’, the idol miraculously came onto his lap! Ramanuja thus bacame father of the divine child Sampath Kumar (Chelva Pillai-the dear darling child)! The princess agreed to hand over the idol to Ramanuja with great difficulty. Ramanuja accepted the idol and started on his return journey to Melkote and reinstalled it in the temple. The princess who could not bear the separation followed the idol with Ramanuja to Melkote. Even today, there is a small idol of the princess at the feet of Ramapriya in her memory and is identified as “Bibi Nacchiar” or “Bibi Lachhimar”.
I can give you numerous incidents like this. God doesn’t interfere in day to day activities of humans, he just leaves us to act upon our will and enjoy the reactions, he is not partial to people following Sanathana Dharma or Muslims or Christians.
3) Hindus worship numerous Gods.
There is only one Supreme Personality of God Head every one else are his servants, of course they are numerous demigods but they are again the servants of the Supreme. Demigods are just positions they can be taken up by anyone.

The Glory of Sanathana Dharma cannot be explained in few lines.
Dear Shah you are a neophyte in this field, first acquire knowledge of Sanathana Dharma before making baseless talks, please ask if you have any questions.

What do you mean by fastest growing making more muslim babies and increasing the population?

Every one knows how Islam was spread across the world, Islam spread not by Philosophy but because people were forcibly converted to it. Parts of India, Malaysia, Maldives, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Philippines are few of the examples, why do you think these places have Sanskrit names, Cruel Muslim rulers tortured people and converted them to Islam against their wishes.

It doesn’t matter if Islam makes its way every where by force, what goes up has to come down, there was a time when Buddhism was strong but what happened to it now ?

I can give you numerous examples of people from Islam being converted to hinduism and are reading a sacred life at Iskcon world wide.

Islam is definitely spreading as its a blessing and natural way of this life and the life after death.Hinduism was trash in past and its becoming more and more as its young generation is reading about other religions.Its hard to find a muslim,christian,jewish becoming hindo or converting to an other religion.But u can see alot more hindos coming to these religions.I see on daily basis hindos girls in the shopping mall(where i got business in USA) holding hand of a muslim,christian or jewish guy and converting from her religion and similarly men are also doing.Especially the new generation of hindos are ashamed of their elders who worshpiped idols and were divided in races.Islam, Christianity and jewdaism have more than 80%same roots and same beliefs that how the world will come to end.We all beliefe in same God and have belief in same day of judgement.So it should not be a surprise that how people convert from one of these religion to the other.Hindos are in great darkness of ignorance.I see this religion to be a few persons religion in 2030.Make more websites and create more propaganda about other religions to save ur relgion.Which i dont think gonna work for you…look at these sample link of hindos converted to the GREATEST ISLAM.

Brother Shah, your post was utterly sexist and beyond my comprehension how much hatred you carry against Hindus. From 2000, Hinduism grew 1.87%, which is 23% higher growth rate than mighty Christianity. Beautiful Judaism virtually remained unchanged.

Now, there are 1 billion Hindus and this is unlikely that 1 billion would stop believing in Hinduism in 20 years. Even if they do, there is no guarantee that they will convert to Islam, Christianity or Judaism. They could might as well convert to agnosticism or any other various faiths. You forgot to take that into account and this makes me think you lack logical reasoning skills. In the world right now, 1.1 billion atheists/agnostics and around 2.0 billion people that don’t believe in Christianity/Islam/Judaism. Therefore, there is almost a virtual tie.

Your vision of the world of having only three religions can also be destroyed on the basis of current global political trends. Hindus (India), Christians (US) and Jews (Israel) are working hard to strengthen defense and economic relationship. The Muslim world is far behind literacy rate, research and development, women rights and various other elements. We are seeing more and more Muslims are getting isolated due to increasing extremist activities thriving from that community. Even at China, the Uighur terrorism caused higher vigilence among the Chinese government. Therefore, if anything I see Muslims continue to fall behind technologically and getting more isolated while strong relationship continue to foster among the western and Indian power.

Finally, even though people don’t specifally call themselves Hindus, various Hindu elements have successfully entered into the western pop culture. Islam is far behind in this. Think about the number of people that perform Yoga. 24% Americans today believe in reincarnation, which is not obviously a Christian or Islamic belief. Have you watched the movie Avatar? All humans connected through a force or God within all beings is gaining strong momentum. This, my friend, came from Hinduism. Therefore, brother, your analysis is wrong.

What I would suggest you to would be to go out and learn real knowledge. What you see while seating at your cheap grocery store located in a ghetto mall doesn’t explain the world.

Boys thanks for all your comments, this web page could be a small page in the ocean of www, but it does matter to reply to baseless and foolish claims made by brainwashed people, it is time all Hindus unite and face the Islamic terrorists and the wicked Christians.
There is an article on “Hindus need to unite”, this is written by Stephan Knap, I met him in Bangalore, DRDO, he was here to lecture on Sanatana Dharma and its Scientific knowledge.
