Forcing Islam: A New Way

A new report has come up in Dr. Richard Benkin’s blog about forcefully confirming a woman to Islam. This case was reported by Bangladesh Hindu, Buddhist, Christan Unity Council and Global Human Rights Defense and the Bangladesh Minority Watch has investigated on the issue. It is reported that Koli Goswami, a 20 year old college student’s house was broken to get at least 5 Muslim and a government official broke into her house at 12:45 AM on June 13, 2008. They violated through the house to her and even through the girl tried to aleart the nearby neighbors about it by screaming aloud, the gang members fired their guns to keep them out of the way.

In this gang, Tauhidul Islam Bhuiya (Sumon) is in murder charges and even though he is supposed to in trials, he remains free. When police came, they said: “It is not kidnapping. It is love affairs between kidnapper and victim” and to many this does not seem like a love affair. The police do not want to keep in the flow with this case and evne though they have looked upon the case in video, the physical harm done to the house, the cry from the girl’s uncle, and the request from the family to help them get Koli back.

This still stays the same, Richard Benkin said in his blog, that the victims are commonly the young girls, women, and sometimes bodys. The government official that was in the issue suggested that the govenment is supporting these types of kidnapping and harrasing, converting a human to take against their will. What the Muslims have to understand is that even though they might think that forcing someone to go against their own will might make their religion more powerful, well, that might now become the case. They have to userstand that if they do not show the good path, one day the ones that were Muslim due to their ancestors for a long time will quit Islam and say that it is a forceful religion. If this continues, then one day the religion that was built forcefully will be closed down with no power from the physical strength but the mental.

“Forcing Islam: A New Way” , i cant agree with this statement . it’s the oldest method of islamization . 1400 years ago it was invented , still going on.

but other religions expanded through love & logical reasonings .

minority? hiw come you even thinking so bad about it?hindus kids are going to school along with muslims..hindus getting national holiday for their ceremony as well where i m living in sweden and 35% people are muslim but they dont give national holiday on eid…moreover they dont allow to say AZAN loud..but hindus in BD at evening do ULU dhoni…i will say that hindus are fair enough position in BD.

@hasan, so you feel like disturbing the peace of a country? in BD we yes do ulu dhoni but we do it far more quietly cause you guys are going to hurt us if we do it loudly

no hard feelings.i didnt mean that way.i wanted to say that muslims not allowed to give azan because its christian country.majority are. so as Bangladesh is a muslim country what u expect. moreover you got national holidays on your puja.i am standing here and saying proudly that people like me not gonna hurt you for ur religious.cause every human being have their right to believe in their own religious.

@hasan, well you were just talking abt US but in India, they have everything and India is considered a Hindu country but there is azan and ulu both. Can’t there be any secularism in the muslims then?

i m not talking about india.i m talking about my country BANGLADESH…i dont care what india do.i really hate when all hindus refer to india.why then i say that why we cant be like dubai or iran or saudi arabia.?

Why do you hate when specifically Hindus mention India? You do not hate when Muslims talk about India? Do you carry an implicit grudge against Hindus?

India is a neighbour of Bangladesh and obviously two countries need to be compared when we are discussing human rights. Rather than using useless words, get to the point please.

Who said in the west Muslims can’t do Adhan? Which west do you live in? Muslims do not make up a significant population percentage in many western countries and that’s why they don’t get religious holidays. On the other hand, Hindus have contributed significantly in the liberation of Bangladesh and also makes up a good chunk of the population.

If the west starts giving holidays to Muslims then they have to do it all other smaller fringe groups.

The western countries are secular and people from all religions are treated with respect. Bangladesh is Islamic.

look i lived in uk?u dont have any idea may be how many muslims in london.there is no azan.

u said bangladesh is a muslim country.if u think so then u should be more greatful.cause in bangladesh hidus, christian, budhu every one get their big days as a national holiday.right?

and minority some tribes can argue about that but not hindus.

just tell me whats the problem for hindus in bangladesh.i am glad and happy to learn that from you.

overpopulated country like bangladesh, everyday murder,rapes coming to news.in that country what u expect?we dont have serious problem between hindus and muslim.i have so many guys who is hindu,i dont feel any bad feelings for them.

and about INDIA.all hindus refer to that country.its not because its our neighbour country.its because vast proportion of hindus there.if INDIA was far over CANADA , i believe still u guys will refer to INDIA.its like jews refering israel.MALAYSIA is our neighbour country.why dont u think about that?

however i think HINDUS in bangladesh have not so big problem that they cant live.most of my teachers were hindu.i respect them.for me its not hindu or muslim or any others.i just think people need to be more open minded rather than feeling insecured.

I cannot reply to your message before you make the following corrections and rewrite what you wrote.

1) I never said Bangladesh was a Muslim country.

2) Malaysia is not an immediate neighbour of Bangladesh but India is.

3) You didn’t answer my question if you would react the same way if Muslims compare India with Bangladesh.

4) Sorry, what do you mean there is no adhan in London? Offcourse there is. Do you mean you want to create a havoc at the middle of the night with Adhan? Ok, that should not be allowed in any civilized society.

As you make these corrections I will answer ur questions.
