Bashundhara City is 21 stories tall country’s modern shopping mall in Bangladesh With a space for 2,500 retail stores and cafeterias and also possesses a large underground gymnasium, a multiplex styled movie theater and top floor food court along with an indoor theme park.

A suspicious fire broke out at Basundhara City shopping complex in Dhaka today afternoon. Shop owners, other witnesses and police said the devastating fire that broke out after 1 in the afternoon, was spreading fast from the 19th floors of the building. Until now one is reported to death on this suspicious incident.

Almost all fire brigade units of Dhaka and neighboring city arrived at the spot and have been trying to douse the flames. But, they cannot pour water in the flames, as their ladder cannot go beyond 13th floor.

State minister for home Tanjim Ahmed Sohel, said that “our fire brigade donot have the modern equipment to act immediately on some high ridge building like this but we are trying our best”. Along with the fire brigade the Army, Naval and Air force has joined control the fire. Untill Now 1 dead, at least 17 hurt in Basundhara inferno.

The connection of vested quarter that involved in the recent mutiny is highly suspected by the political specialists. It’s predicted that the same vested quarter is trying influx havoc in the country by different pre planned destruction in the country. The same vested quarter is spreading violence in several educational institutions of Bangladesh.
